Comer Accuses Walz Of ‘Enabling Fraud’ As Explosive MN Hearing Explodes…..#

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is preparing to sharply criticize Tim Walz during an upcoming congressional hearing focused on alleged fraud in federally funded welfare programs. According to his prepared remarks, Comer plans to argue that Minnesota’s state leadership failed to respond to early warning signs, allowing significant misuse of taxpayer funds to continue for years without proper intervention. He is also expected to assert that both Walz and Keith Ellison were aware of vulnerabilities within these programs long before publicly acknowledging the scale of the issue, a delay Comer claims contributed to substantial financial losses.

A key component of Comer’s case will rely on testimony from more than 30 whistleblowers, including current and former government employees. These individuals reportedly claim they raised concerns internally but were ignored, sidelined, or even faced retaliation. Comer is expected to argue that these accounts reveal a broader culture within state agencies that discouraged scrutiny instead of promoting transparency and accountability. The hearing follows a detailed committee report suggesting that Minnesota officials had prior knowledge of fraud risks across several programs, including childcare assistance, Medicaid initiatives, and food aid services, dating back years before the issue became public.

Federal investigations have already led to criminal charges against individuals associated with Feeding Our Future, in a case involving more than $240 million in alleged fraud tied to a federal child nutrition program. Authorities are continuing to investigate whether similar misconduct occurred in other programs. Republican lawmakers argue that the situation reflects a systemic failure in oversight, while Walz and Ellison deny any wrongdoing, maintaining that the matter is being politicized. The hearing highlights growing tensions over accountability, transparency, and the management of public funds.
