White House Physician Releases Trump Health Update,,..!@

President Donald Trump remains in “excellent health” and “fully fit” for presidential duties, according to a medical report released Friday following a comprehensive examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s physician, conducted the extensive evaluation on Tuesday, which included CT scans, cardiac imaging, cancer screenings, and assessments from 22 medical specialists. Trump spent roughly three hours at the military hospital and told reporters afterward the examination went “perfectly.”

What the Examination Revealed

Trump, 79, weighed 238 pounds during the visit, a 14-pound increase from his April 2025 physical, with a body mass index of 29.7. Medical guidelines classify a BMI of 30 or higher as obese, placing Trump just below that threshold.

The 79-year-old demonstrated strong cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological health with no significant abnormal findings, according to Barbabella’s report. “His demanding daily schedule, including multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, continues to support his overall well-being,” Barbabella wrote.

Trump scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a screening tool for cognitive impairment, matching results from his 2025 and 2018 evaluations. His total cholesterol measured 143, down significantly from 223 in 2018.

Minor Health Findings

Doctors documented minor bruising on Trump’s hands, attributing it to “minor soft tissue irritation related to frequent handshaking” and noting it as “a common and benign effect of aspirin therapy.” Barbabella recommended switching to low-dose aspirin.

The White House disclosed last year that Trump has chronic venous insufficiency, a common age-related condition causing blood to pool in the legs. This year’s examination showed slight lower-leg swelling, though physicians noted improvement since last year’s evaluation.

The Broader Context

This marks the fourth publicly disclosed medical evaluation since Trump returned to office for his second term. The release comes as the administration seeks to demonstrate the president’s fitness ahead of the midterm election cycle.

Trump, who turns 80 next month, was the oldest person ever elected president at the time of his election. His predecessor, President Joe Biden, left office at age 82 after ending his 2024 reelection campaign amid concerns about his age and fitness for another term.

Presidential health disclosures remain a matter of public interest, though no legal requirement mandates presidents release complete medical records. Administrations from both parties have historically chosen the level of transparency regarding medical information.
