2024 DNC Report Reveals Just How Bad Party Screwed Up Harris’s Campaign…@#$

The Democratic National Committee released its long-delayed 2024 election autopsy report on Thursday, drawing immediate criticism from party members over what the document omits and how its findings address the party’s electoral losses.

DNC Chair Ken Martin released the 200-page report after months of public pressure and reversals on whether he would publish it at all. The delayed rollout has added to a series of negative headlines for Martin during his tenure leading the party.

What the Report Says

The autopsy identifies underfunded state parties and Democratic voter registration declines as key problems. The report also states the party has shown a “persistent inability or unwillingness to listen to all voters,” which it says created opportunities for Republicans to gain ground.

Much of the document focuses on historical political data dating back to 2008 rather than directly analyzing the 2024 campaign. The report includes fundraising figures and spending data from previous election cycles alongside its assessment of recent Democratic performance.

The Internal Backlash

Democratic Representative Jared Moskowitz called the report “malpractice,” saying, “We got shellacked in the last election. I mean, we lost every single solitary swing state.” He added the party “couldn’t even do the autopsy correctly.”

Martin acknowledged the delayed release created problems for the party. “I didn’t want to create a distraction, but by not putting the report out, I ended up creating an even bigger distraction,” he said.

What Critics Say Missing

Party insiders say the report fails to adequately address significant campaign decisions. The document contains no substantial discussion of President Joe Biden’s debate performance or how Vice President Kamala Harris secured the nomination without a primary process.
