Fox Host Sounds Alarm as NASA Scientists Continue to Turn Up Missing or Dead

Author:

Fox News host Will Cain highlighted seven cases involving scientists and government researchers who have recently gone missing or died, all with connections to sensitive aerospace and defense projects.

Cain’s segment on “The Will Cain Show” examined what he described as overlapping circumstances among individuals linked to NASA, Air Force research facilities, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. The cases span multiple years and include both deaths and disappearances.

The Cases Under Review

Cain identified astrophysicist Carl Grillmair, who worked on a NASA-supported space telescope project at Caltech, as one of the deaths. Grillmair was shot and killed at his home two months prior to the segment.

Frank Maiwald, a senior scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab who focused on advanced satellite systems, died nearly two years ago with no publicly disclosed cause of death, Cain noted.

The host then turned to four missing individuals, including retired Air Force General William McCasland, who headed the Air Force Research Lab and oversaw advanced space and surveillance programs before disappearing in February.

Melissa Casias, who worked in an administrative role at Los Alamos National Laboratory with security clearances, vanished in the summer. Anthony Chavez, an engineer also connected to Los Alamos, disappeared during a walk with no reported findings.

MIT researcher Nuno Loureiro, who focused on nuclear fusion research, was shot and killed in his Massachusetts home in December. Cain noted this case involved a separate shooter with no confirmed connections to the other incidents.

The Question of Connection

Cain concluded by raising questions about potential links among the cases, pointing to the institutional overlap between NASA, Air Force research divisions, and Los Alamos Laboratory. He did not present evidence of direct connections but suggested the pattern warranted scrutiny.
