(r) Kai Trump spills tea on her relationship with grandpa Donald…

Kai Trump, the granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, has detailed her close relationship with her grandfather, portraying him as a supportive family member invested in her golf career and personal achievements.

Kai Trump was born May 12, 2007, to Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump. She spent much of her childhood largely removed from public view before beginning to appear in official family photographs during her grandfather’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The RNC Speech Moment

Kai Trump gained national attention in 2024 when she delivered remarks at the Republican National Convention, just days after her grandfather survived an assassination attempt. In her speech, she described him as an engaged family member who offers candy, inquires about her schoolwork, and celebrates her accomplishments.

“It was really special for both of us. We got a little teary-eyed. I’ll never forget that,” Kai said of the convention speech moment.

Bonding Over Golf

The pair share a mutual passion for golf and compete regularly on the course. Kai noted that her grandfather maintains a highly competitive nature and rarely concedes wins during their matches.

Her dedication to the sport produced results when she won the ladies’ club championship at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida earlier this year. The victory led to a scholarship offer from the University of Miami’s women’s golf team, which she announced on social media.

Maintaining Privacy

Despite heightened public attention, Kai Trump has indicated a preference for privacy among her peers. “You wouldn’t know at all [who I am], and that’s the way I like to keep it,” she said in a recent interview, signaling her desire to be known for her accomplishments rather than her family name.
