The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie has entered a critical new phase following the release of surveillance images showing an “armed” masked and gloved individual tampering with her front door camera. This development has prompted an intensified search by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) around the Tucson, Arizona neighborhood of her daughter, Annie Guthrie. Officers were observed canvassing land and questioning residents on Tuesday, Feb. 10, with one local, Tony Zaccagnini, confirming investigators reviewed his home surveillance footage.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on the evening of Jan. 31 and officially reported missing on Feb. 1. Investigators previously confirmed finding blood matching her DNA at her home and noted the removal of a doorbell camera from the premises. The renewed efforts come shortly after Annie Guthrie and her siblings, Savannah Guthrie and Camron Guthrie, released a public video appealing for information. Sheriff Chris Nanos highlighted the new images as critical evidence. Authorities continue to urge the public to come forward with any information as the case reaches a pivotal moment.
