Kai Madison Trump, the eldest grandchild of the former president, was born in New York in 2007 to Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump. She took the national stage for the first time at the convention, where she delivered remarks centered on family moments rather than political matters.

At the convention, Kai challenged public perceptions of her grandfather. “The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person. But I know him for who he is. He is very caring and loving,” she said.
