CNN Host’s Face Says It All During Fetterman Interview About Graham Platner…

Senator John Fetterman on Friday criticized fellow Democrat Graham Platner’s Maine Senate candidacy during a CNN interview, where host Kasie Hunt appeared visibly uncomfortable discussing allegations of sexual misconduct.

Platner, who is challenging Republican incumbent Susan Collins, has faced scrutiny over Nazi tattoos, controversial social media posts, and multiple allegations of emotional abuse. The Pennsylvania Democrat expressed his disapproval of party members who have defended Platner’s candidacy ahead of Tuesday’s Maine primary election.

What Happened

During an interview with CNN’s Hunt, Fetterman detailed allegations that Platner had sent sexually explicit messages to women over a decade-long period. Hunt pressed Fetterman on whether Senate Democrats had discussed these specific allegations, noting her show’s audience would find such information relevant.

Fetterman elaborated on descriptions Platner had allegedly made in his writings, referencing explicit content. Hunt responded with visible discomfort, stating, “I’m glad my children aren’t old enough to watch this show, I gotta be honest.”

The Criticism

Fetterman told The Post on Friday that “every Democrat knows P-Hustle has Nazi ink, was Captain D-k-Pic on Kik, abusive towards women and slandered American soldiers online.” The nickname referenced a Kik account Platner had reportedly maintained under that name.

The senator criticized Democratic colleagues for “suppressing their gag reflex for the ‘greater good'” by continuing to support Platner’s candidacy despite the mounting allegations against him.

The Response

Platner had previously generated headlines for the various controversies surrounding his campaign, including past social media behavior and allegations from multiple women. Despite the criticism, he remained positioned to lead in Tuesday’s primary election.
