President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the United States conducted strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, including the Fordo enrichment plant, prompting swift reactions from global leaders and officials.

Trump declared the operation a “very successful attack” and called it “an HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD” in a post on Truth Social, while demanding Iran “must now agree to end this war.”

Iran’s Response

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a statement saying his country “reserves all options” in responding to the military action. “The events this morning are outrageous and will have everlasting consequences,” Araghchi said on X.

Araghchi added that every UN member should be “alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior” and invoked the UN Charter’s provisions on self-defense. “Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people,” he stated.

International Reaction

The strikes triggered responses from world capitals as nations assessed the implications of the escalating tensions in the Middle East region.
