A body language expert has raised questions about the sequence of events during a shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, noting that Vice President JD Vance was evacuated before President Donald Trump.

On April 25, a gunman opened fire at the Washington Hilton during the annual dinner attended by more than 2,500 guests. Secret Service agents engaged the suspect within seconds, ending the threat. One agent was struck by a bullet but is expected to recover.

What Happened During the Shooting

The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen, entered the venue armed with multiple weapons including a shotgun and handgun. Allen allegedly sent a manifesto to family members before the attack outlining intentions to target Trump administration officials.

Footage from the incident shows Vance being pulled away from the stage immediately as gunfire erupted, while Trump remained seated briefly before being moved to safety. The difference in evacuation timing sparked online discussion.
