Border Patrol BOMBSHELL— Disappearance of Nancy Guthrie Takes Dark Turn

Author:

The search for Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, has intensified into a large, multi-agency effort in Tucson after she was reported missing from her home on Sunday. Due to her age, medical needs, and her daughter’s public profile, the case has gained national attention and urgency.

According to Ali Bradley of NewsNation, the U.S. Border Patrol has deployed its elite BORSTAR (Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue) unit to assist. These specially trained agents are skilled in search-and-rescue operations, medical response, and tracking. Despite close monitoring of the property, no clear evidence has emerged indicating that Nancy left her home voluntarily.

Investigators are considering the possibility that multiple individuals may be involved in her disappearance. Wallace Zeins, speaking to CNN, noted that Nancy’s limited mobility would likely make it difficult for a single person to carry out an abduction. This has led authorities to explore the likelihood of a coordinated effort.

The investigation has also focused on a reported ransom note sent to TMZ, demanding payment in cryptocurrency. The use of digital currency suggests the suspects may be technologically savvy and familiar with online systems. Authorities, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, are working to determine whether the note was handwritten or digital, as each would provide different investigative leads.

Adding to the concern, signs of a struggle and blood spatter were found inside the home, though it is not yet confirmed whose blood it is. With no arrests made and few details released, the case remains active and evolving.

The urgency is heightened by Nancy’s need for daily medication, making time a critical factor. Authorities continue to pursue leads and urge the public to provide any information that could help locate her safely.
