Case of Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mom Takes Dark Turn

The potential kidnapping of 84-year-old **Nancy Guthrie**, mother of NBC host **Savannah Guthrie**, has been given a crucial timeline using her medical technology. Law enforcement reported that **Guthrie’s** surgically implanted pacemaker stopped syncing via **Bluetooth** with her **Apple Watch** around 2 a.m. Sunday. Because the watch remained inside the home, this suggests **Guthrie** was removed from the residence, supporting claims she was taken in the middle of the night.

**Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos** stated there is concerning evidence of foul play, including blood and signs of forced entry, and stressed that **Guthrie’s** need for daily medication makes the case highly urgent. Former FBI special agent **Nicole Parker** suggested the home’s condition indicates the abduction was likely committed by someone with a “deep grievance” rather than a random stranger, noting the confidential details of the crime scene are heavily guiding the police investigation.
